Jamie woke suddenly. She looked around at her surroundings, which were currently blurred due to the after-effects of being knocked out. Justin was beside her, she had just noticed, and they were in the back of a luxurious, leather-seated car, driving down the wealthy part of town towards Port Credit.

"Oh, man...Justin, how'd we get here?" She asked, utterly bewildered.

Justin shrugged. "I have no idea. I don't know where we're going, either..." He checked his watch. "It's 9 AM, though..damn, it's way too early to be awake."

Jamie nodded. She squinted her eyes as she peered out of the shaded windows at the mansions on the road. "Why are we in Port Credit?" She yawned as Justin shrugged again.

Several minutes later they pulled into the driveway of the largest and most ornate of all the mansions on Lakeshore Boulevard; what Jamie and Justin had affectionately deemed the Castle House. It was bright and colourful, with turrets and many many towers.

"Wow! Why're we pulling in here? And for that matter...who's driving the car?" Justin asked, lowering the limo partition only to find the front seats empty.

"No way...an automated autopilot limo?" Jamie breathed, clearly impressed. "How high-tech."

"Jamie! Jamie, look! There's a dude over there!" Justin pointed towards the door, where a very tall, curly haired boy was sprinting hurriedly into the house. Jamie blinked.

"Is that...no, it couldn't be David.." She gasped as the boy emerged again to retrieve his dropped notebook. "It IS David! Oh my god!"

"Ooh, the British kid?" grinned Justin. "I love his accent! Hey David! David!" He called, causing David to turn around curiously. His eyes widened slightly as he caught sight of Jamie. At once he ran over to them, excitement etched on his face.

"Jamie!" He called, hugging her as she ran to meet him. "I had no idea this place was in your city! Awesome!"

"Hi, dude!" laughed Jamie, clearly excited to see him. "What the hell are you doing here?"

David blinked. "Didn't they tell you? Or.lemme guess...faggot decided that it would be a surprise for you."

Jamie rolled her eyes. "David, don't call my fiancée a faggot. He's clearly straight."

David grinned. "Oh well, this is great anyhow, wait till you see it all!" He looked around as Justin collected Jamie's things from the car. "Some cool autos they have here, huh? CJ would have a seizure if he saw these." He pulled a Dr Pepper out of his bag and opened it.

Jamie nodded in agreement. "Definitely.."

At that moment, another limo pulled into the driveway. A tall, dark haired boy stepped out and gazed with mild curiosity at the building before them.
David let out a low laugh. "Don't tell me that's Chris."

Justin and Jamie exchanged looks of hilarity as Chris approached them. "Hey, guys!" He said, waving warmly at them all.

"Hi, Chris!" The red haired pair called in unison, each with equal excitement. They laughed as Chris grinned.

"Yo, Chris," said David, grinning widely at him. "Finally, another bloke in this place."

"What're you talking about?" Jamie asked, her voice slightly edged with
indignance. "Justin's a guy!"

"Yes, but Justin's gay, he doesn't count."

Jamie opened her mouth to speak again, but faltered, looking to Justin for guidance. He shrugged and nodded. "He's got a point."

"So, what is this place?" Chris asked, looking again at the building whose shadow they were in. "I don't remember anything before this…except being hit very hard on the head by something blunt."

David choked on a laugh. "Doesn't surprise me. Watch. Jamie, what's the last thing you remember before you got here?"

Jamie thought for a second and bit her lip. "Umm…Rob was singing me to sleep." She smiled slightly at the memory.
"Why was I knocked out and Jamie was sung to sleep?" Chris wondered aloud. "How'd you get here, David?"

"I was part of the planning, I took a flight and I wasn't knocked out." He said indifferently, although he seemed slightly proud of himself. "Justin, how'd you get here?"

"Logan got a long-distance call, then he left and I fell asleep." Justin yawned while Jamie shook her head. She knew Justin wasn't sleeping when he first got into bed.

Checking his watch, David beckoned them all inside. "We're early, but still, you should know your way around this place, it's gonna be a bit confusing." He said, taking another sip of his pop.

Jamie, Chris and Justin looked at each other, shrugged and followed David inside.
It was the most bizarre, yet awesome thing Jamie had ever seen. People slightly older than they were, who seemed to Jamie very familiar, were walking around and reading off of seating charts, which were bright neon colours. A giant chandelier in the shape of a mudkip hung in the middle of the foyer, and inspirational posters, like the ones Jamie and Rob would look at sometimes, hung on the walls like portraits.

Justin looked utterly confused; Jamie and Chris, however, seemed right at home. "What…is this place?" Jamie asked, turning to David. He grinned.
A voice floated suddenly out of an invisible PA system, causing all four of them to jump.

"Excuse me…would professor Imperatore please see the headmaster in his study…thank you."

"Imperatore.." Jamie repeated, biting her lip again. "Isn't that Cassie's last name?"
Jamie had barely spoken these words before Rob's sister emerged from the door to their left. She caught sight of them and hopped on the spot suddenly in excitement. "David! Jamie!" She squealed. "You made it!" She ran forwards and hugged them. David looked slightly pink.

"Hey!" Jamie said in greeting, hugging her back. "Maybe you can shed some light on this and tell us what's going on?"

Cassie grinned. "I see they left it to be a surprise for you. Wouldn't put it past my darling brother. Come on, I have to go meet CJ in his study." She beckoned them to follow.

"What is this place?" Chris asked, jogging to keep up with the rest.
David grinned. "One of a kind."

They followed Cassie through a pair of large wooden doors and into a vast study, whose shelves were filled not with books, but games from various gaming systems and anime insider magazines. CJ was in front of his computer screen, which was an entire wall of the office, browsing the forum and posting in the "You laugh, you lose" topic.

"Hey Cassie," he said, handing her a small package. "Here're those patterns you wanted for your first class." He blinked and looked at the other four. "Hey, guys! Bet you're wondering what's going on, huh?" He laughed to himself. "Oh, you must be Justin," he added, surveying Jamie's companion. "You have more friends than you think here. Another person who will be attending this semester is your friend, Logan."

Justin's eyes widened. "Seriously? Oh my god!" He turned to Jamie, cackling excitedly. He emitted a high-pitched sound, jumping on the spot slightly.

"He does that when he's happy," Jamie explained, in answer to the others' bewildered looks. "But really...were ARE we, CJ?"

He gestured them to follow him as he walked out into the hallway. Somewhere, a bell rang.
"Welcome to EN High."
